Tony Hawk has an amazing career history. He started skating pro when he was fourteen years old. Since then he has made history as the most well known skateboard professional ever. He has a mega list of sponsors and a giant public following after his video game career evolved into a multi-million dollar industry, not to mention HE IS ONE AWESOME SKATER!  We (Kari, Isaac, Owen, and I) were fortunate enough to go see him give a presentation in Cedar Rapids tonight. A friend of ours, Andy Stoll, was the MC and it was very informal. The night was full of laughter, kids asking questions, and mostly the two of them discussing what it looks like to become so huge in a market that is basically "underground". Isaac and Owen got his signature and I got to shake the hand of a legend! Enjoy the pics!
